My Heart - What to Know was created in 2024 by Ansley Dalbo and Fred Bennett, who also founded Diabetes - What to Know and My Weight - What to Know. (You can read more about us below) We created this resource because we believe that accurate, science-based health information should be available to everyone for free. This is a site dedicated to education which does not promote specific branded products. We are driven by our passion to make health information available and understandable so that everyone can live a long, healthy life. Founders Ansley Dalbo has worked in the healthcare field for over 25 years, including 12 years spent supporting Walmart’s diabetes brand, ReliOn. She’s passionate about using social media and digital tools to help people living with chronic health conditions thrive through education and support. Ansley graduated from Harvard University with a degree in English, and she lives in Atlanta. She’s an avid vegetarian cook, and loves reading, hiking and listening to baseball on the radio. Fred Bennett is an award-winning photographer who worked in New York City for over a decade, collaborating with Hal Davis, Olivier Toscanni and Rebecca Blake, among others. He has worked with a variety of companies on branding and marketing initiatives, including Canon, Coca-Cola and WebMD. He loves movie posters, audiobooks and watching college football with Ansley. He is happiest working outside in his garden.
